Change Day comes every 6 weeks.  This is what we do for each one.   Pictures for Change Day on January 13, 2015

The Saturday before Change Day we have breakfast in our home with the Office Elders.  These are the Office Elders who were serving in the office on January 13, 2015

January 13, 2015.  We pick up the missionaries coming to our mission from the CCM at 6:30 in the morning.

We get a chance to welcome each one 

President and the Assistants give them instructions.  Elder Hicken and Elder Casanova are going home

New missionaries and Assistants take the bus to the Magdalena chapel to drop off their luggage and then they come to the mission office.

Mission office.  We have all the supplies ready and waiting for our new missionaries

Map of our mission in the mission office.  Each new missionary will be assigned a trainer and a place to work somewhere on this map.

Luggage all delivered to the Magdalena chapel.   Missionaries ready for training in the office.  President Borg interviews each missionary while the Assistants, Sister Borg and Office Elders train the new missionaries.

We check to see if we have the correct Email address for each missionary's family.  We take a picture of each missionary with President and Sister Borg.  We send a letter and a picture to each family that day.

Lunch time......taco bar, brownies and ice cream.  

President Borg teaches.....Sister Borg is taking the pictures, but she teaches too.  She teaches about health.  After all the interviews and lunch is over,  the new missionaries get on a bus to the Magdalena Chapel where they will meet their new trainer.

The new missionaries are welcomed into the mission as the missionaries stand and sing Called to Serve.

At 6:30 that evening all of the missionaries who are going home meet at our home for dinner.

After testimonies, the missionaries watch a video that the office Elders have made with pictures sent in from each of the missionaries going home.  

President cuts their ties for a quilt Sister Borg is making using each one of the missionaries ties as a piece.

Goodbye photo with group going home.  They leave for the airport.  If their plane leaves the next morning, they will stay with the office Elders and leave in the morning.

Good-bye to our missionaries going home.  Every Change Day is very special for us.
