On August 23, 2014 we were blessed to have President Soares with his wife and President C. Scott Grow visit the mission.  They are both members of The First Quorum of the Seventy

This was a dancing skeleton.  We stopped at the light and enjoyed a little laugh.  
Our missionaries are out on the streets too.  This was an open house for our family history library.

Hermana Wardle and Hermana Madsen spent time with each one of the missionaries teaching them how to find family names, and helped them fill out their four generation chart in the booklet they are holding up, Mi Familia 

We had  a lot of our Elders find names to take to the temple.

July 29th  is the Peruvian's Independence Day.  The parade went right by the chapel where we were having our Change Day meetings.  We told the new missionaries they were having a welcome parade for them.

Our good friend and neighbor Al Emery and Lynn Stewart came to visit.  Al served as a Mission President in the Detroit Michigan Mission.   He spoke to our missionaries in one of our Multi Zone Conferences.
